The Globe/Miami game was way exciting! Miami was ahead for awhile but we won! Joe's guards needed practice guarding and he got piled on three times. He got his finger jammed first thing but that didn't stop him. Aaron was part of the chain gang. Michael got stung by a wasp three times.(Poor guy!) and We cheered.

We have had such fun watching Joe be the star 7th grade quarterback this year! He has worked hard and learned alot. We have watched in all kinds of weather. The 1st game was SO HOT! One game the RAIN poured down and we all sat under Aaron's umbrellas. Sometimes it's way windy. Last night it was a little chilly but for me it was perfect weather. We usually go to Aaron & Kenzie's for a treat and to watch highlights that Aaron recorded from the game. Ryan is our cutest mascot ever and Brookie is our favorite cheerleader. They keep us smiling. Aaron , Kenzie and Dad are the best cheering squad the team has. Brookie has made a little friend named Chole who likes to cheer with her and share her skittles. Alot has happened since I blogged last! Aaron and Katie graduated. Aaron and Kenzie moved to Globe. We went to Idaho for Spring break to visit Katie and Dan and Spencer and Jimmy. We have three new babies, (Noel, Jill, and Ryan) Joe went back to High Desert Middle school and is the 7th grade quarterback, Rachel is a big SENIOR and is in Cosmetology, Susan came home for Home school and learned to play the guitar, Becca did an internship in Hawaii and is back to BYU Idaho. Steve is still the Bishop and I'm the 1st counselor in Primary and the cannery specialist. Susie and Rachel went to EFY, Rachel REALLY cut Susie's hair, while Steve, Becca, Joe and I went to a Burk reunion in Eagar in July.We had a great family campout and Aidan came to visit in August. Fall break came and went all ready. We started out a day early and went to California for Holden and Svetta's wedding in the San Diego temple. That temple is so beautiful! And the wedding was so nice! It was also Rachel's l7th birthday! (Rachel's the best!) The day started out pretty cool and windy but turned out to be a beautiful day. We enjoyed the beautiful temple grounds outside with all it's beautiful flowers and grass and had a picnic in the car when it turned cold again. When the pictures and lunch and everything was all over we went to LaJoya Beach which was only about 5 minutes away from the temple. The weather was beautiful again and we played in the ocean and jumped rope with the sea kelp on the beach. It was really fun. We got a little lost on the way back to Perris but still made it in time for the reception. Susie caught the bouquet which was all white roses. It was beautiful and smelled so good! No one could have appreciated it more! On Saturday we visited with all the family at Gerrold and Clarice's home. We had a birthday party for Benji (Scott's little boy) and Rachel in the house and then went immediately outside to the front yard for a Halloween party put on by Emily. (Coby's 9 Yr old daughter) Both were very fun. Mostly it was just so fun to get to watch all those kids being parents and getting to know all those cute little grandkids. On Sunday it was stake conference and Gerrold and Clarice were two of the speakers. Clarice spoke on Charity and Gerrold spoke on Patriarchal blessings. Melissa and Chris and their family and Coby and her little ones all had to go home and I felt sad to let them go, alot like I do when we all have to go home after we've been together as a family. They are all great people.
Monday we went to Disney land and saw Scott and His family and Holden and Svetta every once in awhile. Then we it started to get dark we all got together and spent the rest of the night together. Joe loved all the rollercoaster type rides and I loved Buzz Lightyear laser ride. Here are some funny pictures. We also went out to eat pastrami burgers at midnight with Holden and Svetta. We had lots of fun. We were going to stay one more day but we were all tired so we drove home on Tuesday and visited with Anne and Rob and their little ones that evening. The rest of fall break was spent doing home work and resting. One really fun part of the trip was getting to know Svetta. She is so sweet and thinks everthing is so beautiful. It will be great to have her as part of our family.
